After having two kiddos, I transitioned from my background in journalism and copy editing into conversion copywriting. I joined Joanna Wiebe’s CopyHackers Copy School and became an official conversion-copywriting convert. I hold a BA in English Literature from Simon Fraser University, and a Certificate of Journalism from Langara College. In 2023, I successfully completed the San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety training program, and. I am currently pursuing a certificate in Plain Language Studies at Simon Fraser University.

That award I referenced? It’s an Honourable Mention Edward Dunlop Award for Investigative Journalism for a print series I researched and wrote on environmental toxins (if you’re a B-corp or have strong sustainable, eco-friendly or socially conscious values, let’s definitely talk).

Important note: I speak fluent G-Suite, Microsoft Word, Figma, SEMRush plus a plethora of PM tools, and feel pretty naked without a coffee in hand.
